Clinical Trials

An important component of cancer research comes from clinical trials, which are supervised cancer research studies to determine the effectiveness of a particular cancer treatment. These trials involve cancer patients taking new cancer drug treatments – before the drug has been approved by the FDA. Patients must volunteer to be tested but most also meet specific criteria to be eligible for testing.

By joining a cancer clinical trial, you’re joining a community of fighters, united by a common goal to improve cancer outcomes and offer a brighter future for patients and their loved ones.

Below are some of the current clinical trials affiliated with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center at Overlake.
